Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year is undoubtedly one of the best movies this year. Watch it for Ranbir, watch it for Shimit Amin, and watch it for some sensible acting, watch it for a gripping storyline, watch it for a down-to-earth treatment. The most important aspect of the movie is that the new generation India can easily identify themselves with the storyline. Actually the movie is an offbeat type in the disguise of a commercial film.
The story explores the life of Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) who was an average student throughout his entire educational journey. He decided to join a company as a salesman. He is inducted as a trainee by a company. But Harpreet messed up a business deal big time inviting abuse from the seniors and colleagues. He is prevented from going to the field and clearly demoted. In reply to this he starts an own sales and sales agency and runs it undercover along with the job. For rest of the twists and turns you should go to the movie. It’s worth your money.
