Ashok Chakra – A Movie Made For Nothing
It is a difficult question to answer as to why this movie was produced at all. Was it because, these people had the money and the time to produce it? They might have had both these, but not the skill. The film based on the 26/11 attacks failed as miserably as did the attacks.
Honestly speaking, it would have been better had the movie not been produced. There are the martyrs of the carnage, Hemant Karkare, Tukarum Ombale, Ashok Kamte and Salaskar are against ‘Asab’ i.e. Kasab. Then follows how Tukarum Ombale became a martyr while trying to get his hands on the terrorist. Considering the nature of the film, it is sad to know that such a film exists.
