Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani: Is that a comedy?

If you are looking for some quality comedy on the screen, then you can easily give a miss to the ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. It is a different thing (and may be an ‘ajab’ characteristic of Indian common cinegoers) that movies like this are hyped to be unique piece of comedy here. But, in reality, the movie lacks all the components of a successful comedy. Dialogues are seemed to be pushed out from the mouths of the actors. Not a single frame has any natural reactions by the actors. Only Ranbir stands out from the crowd with some excellent acting. But the director has miserably failed to tap the total potential of the actor. Katrina is simply unwatchable. At times the movie becomes quite slow and then dragged again. Overall the movie seems to be some kind of project work done by a filmmaking trainee. Watch it if you have enough time to waste, otherwise ‘All the Best’ is a much better comedy compared to APKGK.
